Promoting inclusion in recreation
The City of Santa Barbara Parks and Recreation Department’s Adapted Recreation Program gives people with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy leisure activities in a safe and supportive environment. This program ensures that all community members can benefit from and participate in recreation activities offered by the department. In addition to funding inclusion services, PARC is proud to support the program’s annual social events, including a monthly bowling league, a Halloween Dance, and a Thanksgiving Luncheon.
