Chef Apprentice Program
Teaching critical life skills through the culinary arts
The Chef Apprentice Program provides high school-aged students the chance to explore a culinary arts profession under the direct guidance of experienced professionals. Students meet weekly for 3 months to learn foundational skills, including health and safety standards, food preparation techniques, and meal planning. During each class, teens prepare a multi-course meal to take home to their families.
Several program graduates have gone on to build careers in the food service industry in Santa Barbara. Your support ensures this free program can continue to provide important opportunities for local teens.
